Merry Christmas to the Friends and Readers of the São Pio V Blog

Merry Christmas to the Friends and Readers of the São Pio V Blog

Dear friends,

On this holy and special day, as we celebrate the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, we extend to each of you our most heartfelt wishes for a Merry Christmas. May this moment be an occasion for all to renew their faith, rekindle their hope, and strengthen the love that Christ came to bring to the world.

The great Saint Augustine reminds us: "Awake, O man: for your sake God became man!" The mystery of Christmas is the supreme manifestation of God's love, who did not hesitate to take on our human condition to rescue us from sin and lead us to eternal life. In the simplicity of the manger, we contemplate the infinite God who became small to save us.

Saint Francis of Assisi, filled with profound joy, called Christmas "the feast of feasts," for on this day heaven and earth are united. May we, like this saint, live the true joy of Christmas: one that is born from the humility of welcoming the Savior into our hearts and the willingness to bring His light to the world.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, in turn, exhorts us to look at the Infant Jesus with the eyes of a child, with the trust and surrender that enable us to comprehend the mystery of divine simplicity. May this Christmas be an invitation for us to return to what is essential, to abandon excesses, and to seek what truly matters: the presence of God in our lives.

On this day, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us pray for one another and for the world, so that the love emanating from the manger in Bethlehem may transform our hearts and make us instruments of the peace the angel announced to the shepherds: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will" (Lk 2:14).

In this time of grace, let us allow ourselves to be transformed by the love of Christ. May this Christmas mark the beginning of a new season in our lives, where we can live with greater faith, hope, and charity, illuminating the world with the light of the Savior.

May the Infant Jesus, with His Most Holy Mother and Saint Joseph, bless everyone with the fullness of His grace. May He renew in us the certainty that we are not alone: God is with us, Emmanuel, the God who dwells among us.

We wish you all a Holy and Merry Christmas, filled with the presence of Christ, who is the true reason for our joy and hope.

In Christ,
Administrator of the São Pio V Blog
